A residential road running from Wood Ride in the west to Haywards Road in the east and developed in the 1930s to the south of Victoria Park on the site of the former Great Haywards Wood.

Tory's Cafe, Victoria Park, Haywards Heath
One of Haywards Heath's best kept secrets lies tucked away in the south east corner of Victoria Park. Plenty of seating outside in the summer and nice and cosy inside during the winter. All food is homemade whilst the cafe is dog friendly.

Brazier Beacon, Victoria Park, Haywards Heath
Erected in 2005 to be lit at times of important celebrations. The wooded area on the western side of the park lies on a large mound formed by the waste when Haywards Heath tunnel and cutting were excavated in the 1840s.

Haywards Road, Haywards Heath
Linking Ashenground Road to the south with South Road to the north. The modern road roughly follows the course of a much older one, marked on a 1638 estate map, which ran across the old heath to provide access for Little Haywards Farm, see Image Straightened by the enclosure of the heath in 1858 and initially known as little Haywards Road it was gradually developed through the rest of the 19th century.

Path to Drummond Close, Haywards Heath
Linking the northern end of Sunnywood Drive to the close and then Victoria Park. Part of the park built on the former spoil heap made by the construction of the railway in 1841 can be seen beyond.

Victoria Park
Originally part of the heath before becoming a public park in the late 19th century. Out of picture to the right a wooded area rises on a mound built from spoil from the London-Brighton railway. The park is on South Road and is the main open space in town.

Haywards Heath - The Orchards
A good 'all weather' shopping place leading out to the main South Road which has more stores. boasting a M&S and Next with several places to have a coffee and a bite.
