Mostly buried bridge by Downs Link trail
The Downs Link trail normally uses the trackbed of the old railway, but here a cutting has been filled in. The trail follows a roughly parallel course to one side of where the cutting was. Showing here is the north end of a bridge parapet which extends to the left, mainly obscured by vegetation.

Diverted section on the Downs Link
The Downs Link footpath is diverted away from the line of the old Horsham to Shoreham railway line to avoid the building site that was the new centre of the village. Perhaps the line of the path will be restored now that the building work is complete.
