Oakley/Oak House, High Street, Partridge Green
A former large Edwardian house that has now been split into different sections. Oak House refers to the house on the right as well as the pet shop occupying the middle section. Oakley is the name of the rest of the building to the left and has been subdivided into flats. The large building occupies the area on the north of the High Street between Village Hall Lane and Oakwood.

Originally the site of Meyers Wood the estate was built in the 1950s as an egg packing plant which closed in the 1970s. Since 1974 it has been split into small business units and currently possesses 26 which at the time of writing only four were empty.

Obscured by the tree on the left is the village butchers which has been operating here since 1884. The current owners, SK Hutchings, have been here since 1989 and supply many local eateries with produce from a number of local farms. The house dates from the 19th century.
