Located in the small hamlet of Kent Street next to the junction with Buckhatch Lane. The farmhouse seems to have been subdivided as the left hand side is now called Keeper's Cottage.

Unusual brickwork
The ground floor of Image uses an unusual brick-on-edge style of Flemish bond. The wall will still be 9" thick but each course will be almost half as high again as a normally laid course, thereby saving nearly a third of the bricks. The wall is not as strong but is easily strong enough. Addendum: this is known as "Rat Trap" Bond or Chinese Bond - see Wikipedia for a detailed article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brickwork. A big thank you to Graham Horn http://www.geograph.ie/profile/10124 for this information.
