A23 London Road towards London
Skirting Gatwick Airport to the left on the diverted route, the old route went across where the present airport is now.

Old Brighton Road South, Lowfield Heath
The old route of the A23 from before Gatwick Airport was enlarged. At the roundabout ahead the A23 comes in from the left on its diverted route and rejoins the old route south.
