The Greyhound Pub, Tinsley Green, Crawley, West Sussex - Venue for the Annual World Marbles Championships.
This is the venue of the world marbles championships. The concrete circular plinth in the foreground is one of the playing surfaces. There are several of these in the grounds of the pub.

Site of original Gatwick Airport station, 1995
View northward, towards London: ex-LB&SCR London (Victoria/London Bridge) - Brighton etc. main line. The present Gatwick Airport station, opened 28/5/58, is just visible ahead. This is the site of 'Tinsley Green' station, opened in 9/35, becoming 'Gatwick Airport' in 6/36, while the precursor of the modern Gatwick Airport station was plain 'Gatwick', but became 'Gatwick Racecourse' 1946-58.
