New commercial building, St Modwen Park, Gatwick
A green field development on the Copthorne side of the M23 outside the Crawley boundary, so not really Gatwick. It looks unoccupied, as yet.

Field by Heathy Ground Wood
Its main use appears to be for bikers to zoom round a dirt circuit. There are two quad bikes across the field, who had finished their fun and soon departed.

Site groundworks, St Modwen Park, Gatwick
Part of a large greenfield development here, with an area of housing ('Heathy Wood'), where work is in progress, and areas for commercial development, as here, where work seems to have stalled after laying in some roads and preparing the ground. The site is not Gatwick, which is part of Crawley Borough, but just outside it, in the Mid Sussex District.

Cut down hedgerow, St Modwen Park, Gatwick
Apparently necessary for a large greenfield development here by St Modwen, with an area of housing ('Heathy Wood'), where work is in progress, and areas for commercial development, as here, where work seems to have stalled after laying in some roads and preparing the ground. The site's 'Gatwick' name is not strictly correct, Gatwick is part of Crawley Borough, this site is just outside the borough, in the Mid Sussex District.

Hill climb by the M23
Biker use of the surprisingly high and steep embankment built to carry a path from a bridge over the M23. The official path splits north and south to descend by concrete ramps of modest slope.

Footpath bridge over M23
On the route from Balcombe Road to Copthorne. It appears to be built to take farm traffic, but nothing like that has crossed for a long time, just the illicit motorbike.
