Farmland, track and cottages, Mortimer West End
These cottages remain in Hampshire. However, the boundary was relatively recently redrawn to move neighbouring properties on the northern side of West End Road into West Berkshire. The road now forms the boundary. The track is the footpath from West End Farm.

The Turner's Arms
A popular pub on the western side of Mortimer. Had we started our walk in a different place this would have been our halfway lunch stop. But we didn't, so we could only pass it and photograph it. Yes, there was low winter afternoon sun.
