Door of old Methodist Chapel
The chapel dates from 1864, according to its plaque. It is now a private house. The iron frame is curious; presumably the pane behind is openable. Is this door original?

Hooks Hatchet Cottage, Chapel Lane
"A former ale house, Hook and Hatchet is constructed in brick and flint, with a hipped tiled roof, and is date stamped 1822" according to the 2004 conservation area appraisal. There seems to have been a slight evolution of the name since then. (camera held above head.)
