Bagnor Road, Bagnor
Bagnor Road in Bagnor is the main road through the village. The road is part of the Lambourn Valley Way, a recreational route with 20 miles of footpaths from Whitehorse Hill Image] near Uffington in Oxfordshire to Newbury in Berkshire, connecting the Ridgeway with the Kennet valley.
Here the Lambourn Valley Way splits in two directions: to the right the route goes towards Donnington Castle, or straight on to Whitehorse Hill. I guess there is also the option of behind the camera towards Newbury.

The restricted byway is part of the route of the Lambourn Valley Way, a recreational route with 20 miles of footpaths from Whitehorse Hill Image] near Uffington in Oxfordshire to Newbury in Berkshire, connecting the Ridgeway with the Kennet valley.

Bagnor village green
The village green at Bagnor, next to the River Lambourn. There is a notice board with far too much text installed by Speen Parish Council, a bench dedicated to two late residents, and a telephone box which does not have a telephone, although it does have a painting of a telephone, if that's your kind of thing. The phone box was built in December 2021, after the old one was removed in 2017.
