Early C18th. Contrasting with the customary red brick is Sarsen stone, much in evidence in this part of the world. Grade II* listed.

High Street, Lambourn
Goodies has a couple of tables on the pavement but the weather is a bit too grey and miserable, with a threat of rain, to make sitting outside an enticing prospect. Nevertheless, a group of cyclists has stopped off here for refreshments, propping their machines on the wall. The cafe first opened in August 2019.
