The Walwyn Hall (back entrance)
The Walwyn Hall was formerly known as the Lambourn Catholic Hall. The land for the hall and the Sacred Heart Church which adjoins it was donated by jockey and trainer Fulke Walwyn and his wife Cath in 1952. High Street, Lambourn
Goodies has a couple of tables on the pavement but the weather is a bit too grey and miserable, with a threat of rain, to make sitting outside an enticing prospect. Nevertheless, a group of cyclists has stopped off here for refreshments, propping their machines on the wall. The cafe first opened in August 2019.
