The Bear at Hungerford
Reputedly dating back to the 13th Century The Bear is one of the oldest and most historic inns in the country. Its name and fine sign derive from the famous “Bear and Ragged Staff” badge of the Earls of Warwick, 15th Century owners of the Manor of Chilton Foliat and the inn.
