Preston Bus 229, a Leyland Lynx that appears to have had its front and side lower panels modified, loads at the terminus of route 16 to Preston city centre.

Bus on Tudor Avenue, Farringdon Park (2)
Preston Bus 131, a long wheelbase Leyland Olympian/Alexander RH, loads at the terminus of route 16 to Preston city centre. This was one of several such vehicles Preston Bus had recently acquired from Lothian Buses to replace elderly Leyland Atlanteans; this Olympian was already 18 years old when this picture was taken, so was hardly new itself.
