Parish Noticeboard, The Green, Denmead
The carved wooden inscription on the left side of this board reads:- Silver jubilee of His Majesty King George V May 6th 1935 This noticeboard was erected and a tree planted God save the King I know not if the beautiful copper beech beyond (see also http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2952028 ) is the tree in question.

Metal plate attached to stone post by the B2150, in parish of DENMEAD (WINCHESTER District), on village green, Hambledon Road, Denmead, on grass by village notice board, on South side of road. Soberton Plate, erected by an unknown authority in the 21st century. The original milestone was on the North side of Hambledon Road, in front of Linsey House and was still visible in 2015 (with the incorrect mileage painted on, since corrected) see https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6578928 and https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6044273. Inscription reads:- Ports.th 10 Miles. Milestone Society National ID: HA_PODR10N.
