The carved wooden inscription on the left side of this board reads:- Silver jubilee of His Majesty King George V May 6th 1935 This noticeboard was erected and a tree planted God save the King I know not if the beautiful copper beech beyond (see also http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2952028 ) is the tree in question.
