Derby Road Surgery
As a small boy my grandmother once took me here in the middle of the night because I had gashed my head on a bedside lamp. The kindly G.P bandaged my head there and then. What chance of that level of service today?

St Mark's Church, North End
In 1971 the old church across the road was knocked down and this modern structure built. My Grandmother never liked it, whereas my South African friends who never knew the "old" St Mark's love it.
