River Plym near Trowlesworthy Warren
The River Plym is flowing towards the photographer, and is joined by the Blacka Brook in the very near right foreground, see Image and Image The track on the riverbank leads to Trowlesworthy Warren House, situated for shelter amongst the trees on the skyline; it can be a bleak spot in a hard winter. This popular spot where the Blacka Brook is crossed is as far as vehicles can come from Cadover Bridge, as the National Trust limits traffic beyond it purely for access to the Warren House.
