St Bartholomew's Church - Plymouth
Built on the site of Outlands House, onetime home of Sir Robert Falcon Scott the explorer and father of Sir Peter Scott the naturalist. The house was bombed during Plymouth's blitz and the site utilised to serve the needs of the growing post war population of the area.

Commemorative plaque. Outland Road - Plymouth
The plaque commemorates the onetime birthplace of the Antarctic explorer, Sir Robert Falcon Scott. Such plaques are erected with pride yet, with the passage of time, they are allowed to become scruffy leading to one wondering why they are not maintained with the same pride as when they were erected.
