On the river Tavy above Denham Bridge. Seen from a footpath to Hatch Mill. The volume of water suggests that the waterwheel [or wheels] at the mill was undershot or low breastshot

Bere Ferrers: weir on the Tavy
Water from the river once powered machinery at Denham Bridge Mill, via the weir and a now dry leat. The waterwheel was probably undershot or low breastshot as there is no great fall here, but plenty of water

Berrator Farm
From a circuitous lane around the countryside, a view of a farm on the same lane; just over 100 metres away as the crow flies, but nearly 500 metres away via the lane. The farmhouse in the centre has C15 origins and "several unusual features" http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1105485&searchtype=mapsearch .
