Lime Kiln, Calstock
There are several lime kilns along Lower Kelly, the road which follows the river bank under the viaduct and to the west from Calstock. This one is surrounded by soft fruit, some in fruit cages, and has two greenhouses standing against its west wall.

Recycled railway carriage, Lower Kelly, Calstock
A pitched corrugated iron roof has been attached so it fits in well with the shed next door. The north side of this road is lined with assorted sheds and chalets, presumably used by folk making leisure use of the River Tamar across the road.

The path links Lower Kelly with the top of Danescombe valley. Beyond this shot the path merges briefly with the nineteenth century inclined plane which ran up from the quays at Calstock

Calstock: old Great Western Railway carriage
This was originally a 6-wheeled oil-lit 5-compartment third-class coach built in 1886, later reduced to four wheels and used as a workmen’s coach from 1931. Seemingly repainted since 2006: see Image[Source: http://www.vintagecarriagestrust.org/se/CarriageInfo.asp?Ref=5403]
