Ardintigh from Loch Nevis
The very rugged nature of the terrain above Ardintigh can be seen clearly here. This is characteristic of the whole of the area around Morar, and helps to explain why so few roads penetrate the interior, and why travel is so much easier by boat. This shot was taken from the ferry which plies daily between Mallaig and the communities of Loch Nevis, bringing supplies, passengers and mail.

Beached whale in Ardintigh Bay
I'm not too sure about this, it does jar a bit but somehow it doesn't look out of place. The whale's name is Moby, and it was built by Tom McClean - http://www.outdoorcentrescotland.co.uk/moby.asp.

Beached whale on the shores of Loch Nevis
The skipper of the MV Western Isles suggested we should keep watch for a whale, and here it is. A rather unique boat belonging to Tom McClean, who has stated his aim to cross the Atlantic in the vessel. His outdoor adventure centre can be seen in the background.

Loch Nevis - Ardintigh Bay
Any comment that I may make cannot do justice to this wonderful and remote area. Great sweep of a bay with views up and down the loch.
