Inverlochy
Fort William is a sprawl of connected developments strung around the bend of Loch Eil and Loch Linnhe for 9km. Inverlochy was built to house workers at the aluminium smelter. The bike shop here is very good and very helpful.

'Breaking the Crust', Inverlochy
A sculpture by David Annand based on a furnaceman working in the aluminium smelter in 1962. The water pipes supplying the plant's hydroelectric generators can be seen in the background framed by the children's swings.
