The Bein Inn
Situated at the junction of the A912 and the B996 in Glen Farg for over 140 years The Bein Inn is now better known as a rock music venue.

Quarry, Glen Farg
The quarry looks as if it has seen some recent extraction, but is quite old and appears on 19th century maps. The A912 in the foreground has just left the old A90 route in Glen Farg.

Binn road, bin lorry
An empty refuse collection lorry (with a revolving barrel) descends from the Binn Hill landfill site. Getting a bin lorry up there in Winter must be amusing at times - memories of getting our truck stuck on occasions when I worked on the bins.

A912 near Glenfarg
The A912 descending towards Glenfarg, viewed on an overcast November afternoon. Most trees have now lost all of their leaves, revealing the dark green leaves of ivy, which clings to both tree-trunks and the roadside embankment.
