Site of Bridge of Earn Hospital
This sign and some large piles of rubble are all that remain of the hospital. It was built in the war to take casualties from the invasion of Europe, and became an NHS hospital afterwards.

Alexander Drive
This is a new housing development at Bridge of Earn, east of the motorway. These houses are complete and occupied, but construction is still in progress on the other side of the road.

Water management, Oudenarde
This enclosed area is too new to have a sign, but the general appearance suggests it has something to do with waste water management for the new development planned at Oudenarde.

Water holding area
Next to the M90 and the Earn is a large shallow excavation. A culvert beside the motorway enters from the southwest corner (right of picture), and water can drain into the Earn at the northwest corner (not shown). The area is divided in two basins by the bank in the centre of the picture, with a culvert allowing water to flow through the bank. The basins are part of a Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS) constructed for the proposed Oudenarde Village development. It is one of the first that will be passed to Scottish Water under new legislation that makes them responsible for public SUDS in addition to sewers. The double structure suggests that the purpose is to intercept silt laden run-off. Solids settle out progressively as water flows from the first to the second basin. It may also function like a balancing pond. During high rainfall, water that may hold salt or other contaminants is held back and released slowly into the Earn.

Footpath beside the M90
Trees have been planted to screen the M90 embankment from Bridge of Earn. A footpath runs through the trees, from the Earn south to Clayton Road.

Footpath to houses at Clayton Park
This footpath runs across a field. Clearly it gets enough use to re-establish it when the field is ploughed. It joins a more established footpath running beside the M90.
