Rush hour on the Dundee Road
Traffic heading north along the east bank of the Tay is held up by the Bridgend traffic lights, with the queue often extending back to the city boundary. Pedestrians usually go quicker than motorised vehicles at this time of day; it's fun to pick out a distinctive car and compare progress.

Lochie Brae
This steep narrow road is the main route to Murray Royal Hospital, and one of three roads giving access to the Kinnoull estate housing. Neither of the other two roads are as good as this one. The road infrastructure is a major factor limiting development in this area of Perth. Note the handrail by the pavement, essential in icy weather.
