A9, Dalreoch
A long wait for a gap in the traffic coming down Cairnie Brae. There are few split level junctions on the road so it needs two mad dashes to get across.

Northbound A9
A crossing place where the B9141 and road to Findo Gask meet the A9 at the Broomhill of Dalreoch. Crossing here needs patience, gaps in the traffic are few and far between.

A9, Broom of Dalreoch
The dual carriageway, a motorway in all but name (and safe crossing places) at the foot of Cairnie Brae. There is an average speed camera placed to catch those coming down the long hill too fast. A line across the far hillside shows the route of the old road, which is a sane alternative on a bike, save for the blockage halfway up, erected at great expense by a spiteful landowner - well this is Perthshire, what did you expect?
