The dual carriageway, a motorway in all but name (and safe crossing places) at the foot of Cairnie Brae. There is an average speed camera placed to catch those coming down the long hill too fast. A line across the far hillside shows the route of the old road, which is a sane alternative on a bike, save for the blockage halfway up, erected at great expense by a spiteful landowner - well this is Perthshire, what did you expect?
