This bridge over the River Almond was built in 1996 to replace the former Black Bridge which was destroyed in the floods of 1993. It forms part of National Cycle Route 77 (Dundee to Pitlochry).

Industrial site, Almondbank
The sign on the left-hand gate says "Goverment Property No Admittance" (sic), but the site is now used by a few different businesses. (I was amused at the misspelling of Government on an official sign!) It was once part of a large Royal Naval stores depot, moved to multiple Almondbank sites after raids in Coventry during WW2.

Low's Work Weir
The Category B listed weir is mediaeval, rebuilt about 1622-4. It was built to divert water into the King's Lade, which runs into Perth, and powered several mills. Some kind of development is underway on the other side of the river.
