Woodland, Logie House
Another example of a white woodland floor thanks to a very fine crop of snowdrops. 2007 has been a good year for them. One idea I have had is that it is because of the late spring of 2006 (I saw flowers in April) the plants were out in the sun for longer and therefore able to lay down more food in their bulbs.
A ruin near here was the North Lodge.

A fun alternative to the road, not that there was much in the way of traffic. The B8063 is a joy to ride - even has a cake stall alongside it.

Grassland, Drummond Park
West of Perth the land slowly rises and the rich arable lands are replaced by grazing lands and woods. This has a parkland feel with mature trees along boundaries. No stock out though.
