Luncarty House
This substantial 19th century house may have belonged at one time, about 1855, to David Sandeman, or Glas Sandeman, who were partners with a Mr Marshall of Rosemount in the Luncarty Bleach business. Since the 1980s, the house has been in use as a care home for the elderly. Another view: Image

Luncarty Inn
The Inn is located in what was originally the village steading. The circular building - now a restaurant - was a horse-powered capstan house. Other parts of the steadings are now used as business premises, a nursery and a chapel. See also: Image] and Image

Site of former Luncarty station
View northward on the main line a few miles north of Perth. This had been the ex-Caledonian Railway main line to Aberdeen via Stanley Junction. The present line since 1967 is the main line to Inverness, ex-Highland Railway from Stanley Junction, the Aberdeen line having been closed since 1967.

Former steading, Luncarty
This part of the original estate steading is now in use as a pub and restaurant (on the right) and a hair and beauty business (on the left). See also: Image] and Image The buildings were almost certainly originally used in connection with the manufacture and bleaching of linen.
