All Saints Church: Nave and Chancel
It seems wrong to use words like "Nave" and "Chancel" for this stunningly plain little building, but there is a chancel arch, and what one might call a Sanctuary round the Altar.
This is all very odd. Because according to the Victoria County History the church was originally arranged with the pews facing the other way. Yet the chancel does not look like an addition.
The VCH talks of a "three decker pulpit" but there is no longer any trace of this.

All Saints Church: Vestry
Probably used more to retire to sign the register during weddings than for much else, the little panelled Vestry is quite charming.

All Saints Church: Loyal Hatchment
The Royal coat of arms dated 1839 hangs above the West Window.
1839 was the year Michael Faraday publishes "Experimental Researches in Electricity", and was two years after Victoria assumed the throne. It is not clear what the significance of the year is.

All Saints' church
As the village of Pickworth declined, its medieval church deteriorated and was replaced by this Georgian one in 1823-4. The south porch was originally intended to evolve into a tower.
