On the left of the white front door in Image is set this brick. Charles Neaverson, brickmaker, established himself in Peakirk in 1889, but by the turn of the century had relocated to nearby Werrington. There aren't many of these.

This Austin 10 Cambridge saloon car was first registered in April 1937. The Austin Motor Company manufactured a total of 290,000 Austin 10s at its plant in the Longbridge area of Birmingham between 1932 and 1947. The Austin 10 Cambridge model such as the one in this image was produced from 1937 to 1947. It was equipped with a 1,125cc, 4-cylinder engine capable of a top speed of 59 miles per hour and with advertised fuel consumption of 35 miles per gallon under normal driving conditions.
