Site of Hall's Grammar School, Snettisham
The school closed in 1913 and sold by auction in 1920. The buildings were then demolished. The main school was on the grassed area in the foreground and the houses beyond are built on the site of the playing fields. My grandfather and great uncle were boarders at the school in the 1890s.

Old Milestone by the B1440, Norton Hill, Snettisham parish
Metal plates attached to stone post by the B1440, in parish of SNETTISHAM (KINGS LYNN AND WEST NORFOLK District), 25yds North of Suffolk House, against carrstone and brick wall, in pavement, on West side of road. Lynn metal number, erected by an unknown authority in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:-
