Sugar Way
As the name suggests a link to a former use of this site. If you had stood here 30 years ago during the winter sugar beet campaign you would have been run over or told to get out of the way of lorries bringing loads of sugar beet in to be processed. 40 years ago it would more likely to be tractor and trailer combinations (no cabs and just a heavy coat to try and keep warm) The beet factory was first used in 1926 and was closed in 1991.A real brown field site.
