This is not a pile driver
This machine was virtually silent in operation. Looking up the web address written on the machine they specialise in vibrational techniques, including compaction. There is an underground or culverted stream where the machine is standing, and I suspect that something very specialist was being undertaken.

Fairy Roundabout
Mini-roundabouts they are called in the Highway Code. My father called them Fairy Roundabouts. He reckoned they were fungal in nature. Strike a traffic light, and it shed spores that grew into these things.
