Introduction

The photograph on this page of This is not a pile driver by Bob Harvey as part of the Geograph project.

This machine was virtually silent in operation. Looking up the web address written on the machine they specialise in vibrational techniques, including compaction. There is an underground or culverted stream where the machine is standing, and I suspect that something very specialist was being undertaken.
