Thatched Cottage
Empty thatched cottage on Station Street Donington ..... recently sold and awaiting restoration

Requires Work
Former coal merchants office to the north side of Station St. Quite possibly the only thatched building surviving in the village. It was in its last usage an accounts office for William Dodds, coal merchant. William Dodds was a local entrepreneur in the 18th century whose interests included fuel supply, grain trading, brewing, malting and transport.

Converted to a house
I have no idea what this was before the conversion. It is a fascinating idiosyncratic building that might have been a forge, a coach house, or a stables. it might be 19th century, it could even be 18th century. It is adjacent to the 18th century house (on the right) known as St. Heliers' and might be associated with that.

Dial House
Striking dwelling at the Market Place end of Station St. It takes its name from the sun dial mounted between the 1st and 2nd storey windows on the south facing aspect.
