Renfrew: Dunvegan Quadrant
This parade of shops in the Kirklandneuk area of Renfrew stands on Dunvegan Quadrant, which rather than a quadrant is more like half a hexagon projecting from the main line of Kirklandneuk Road. It serves an area of mainly council housing. The right-hand pair of blue shuttered shops (or maybe only one of them) was clearly once a convenience store; it has a "Cash Machine" sign outside. The current grocery store is next to the left, incorporating the post office. Next (left of the red doorway) is an empty shop which in June 2012 (the date of current Google Streetview imagery) had a former video hire signboard visible. Finally, on the left-hand end, is an computer repair shop which, again, in 2012 was a former Londis grocery store. I think the post office was probably originally within the Londis as this is the frontage with a postbox outside.
