Former Soroba House Hotel - May 2016 (1)
A late 18th century, 3-bay, 2-storey symmetrical house which is significant in the history of Oban due to its association with the 19th century novelist, Marie Corelli (although this is not evident from her Wikipedia entry - see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marie_Corelli ). The house appears to have been gutted by fire circa 1970, but was sympathetically rebuilt. It seems now to be a public house, but was not open at the time of my visit. Category C listed.
