The Garden Cafe, Finlaystone
Seen from the Walled Garden. The cafe was acting as a takeaway only service, due to Coronavirus (Covid-19) restrictions. One doorway (to the right) was accepting orders, which were then collected from the other doorway, seen here. There were plenty of tables and chairs outside for customers to sit at.

Walled Garden, Finlaystone
According to a sign at the entrance: 'The Walled Garden was built around 1850 as a Victorian Kitchen Garden, complete with Peach, Cucumber and Carnation Houses, Vinery, Mushroom Shed and flower borders. Between 1955 and 1989 this garden was used as a plant nursery. Then as the greenhouses were rotting, the garden was reshaped as a restful place in the form of a Celtic cross.'
