High Street, Charlton on Otmoor
Old and new housing near St Mary's Church.
This church hosts a rare survival of the old ceremony of church dressing, held on May Day, or Garland Day, when a cross in the church is decorated with yew and box leaves.

Village bus – 1979
Charlton on Otmoor Services ran a local service between Oxford and Ambrosden which was essentially the residential part of the huge Bicester Ordnance depot. The company survives but no longer operates normal bus services, concentrating on coaching and contract work.
The bus is an AEC Regent V originally new to Rhondda Transport in South Wales and is seen in the village of Charlton on Otmoor (High Street) on its way to Ambrosden.
