Islip Rail Station (view SW)
This view facing SW downline towards Oxford, and of course the main Bletchington Road bridge, shows the one and only platform of this station halt and its single through line. This station halt is surprisingly well served with train services, and saw a much improved service as of the summer of 2009. A significant number of people use this station daily, for services to Bicester Town, and in the direction we are looking at here, Oxford. Freight trains also use this small branch line during the early hours each day, between Bletchley and Oxford, and beyond.

Islip Rail Station (unmanned)
The view of Islip station from the main approach driveway. This well served and used village station is unmanned, and has only a single branch line passing through. Train services between Oxford and Bicester Town all stop here, on a now much improved timetable 7 days a week.
