Oxford Service Area, M40
The Oxford service area is a single site that serves both northbound and southbound carriageways of the M40, situated next to junction 8A near Wheatley. The services are owned and operated by Welcome Break. Opened in the summer of 1998, they were the last services to open on the M40, a road which originally held the record for the longest major road that doesn't have any services.
