The Old School House, Farnborough, Berkshire
Cottage. C17 with C18 alterations and extensions. Brick, grey headers and red stretchers, roughcast south gable: half hipped thatched roof. Rectangular plan at right angles to road and to No.22 (q.v.).One and a half storeys; 2 dormers with thatch swept round to east and west elevations; large grouped stack to south end of ridge. West Elevation:- two 3-light casements with cambered heads to left, 4 panel door to right of centre, 3-light casement with cambered head to right. South Elevation:- C20 canted bay on ground floor, 3-light casement over. East Elevation:- C20 french casement off centre right, large C20 half glazed porch to far right, two 2-light C17 casements with leaded lights in dormers. Sun Insurance plaque on wall plate near left dormer.

A 17th and 18th century half-hipped thatched house with brick walls and rendered southern gable. Red stretchers and grey headers (red bricks showing the long edge, grey bricks showing the short edge). There have been 20th century additions such as the southern bay and the eastern French doors and porch.
