Flags by the Shop
May 8th 2020 celebrated 75 years of peace in most of Europe following the end of WW2. Some people marked the occasion privately, as shown here, but the restrictions imposed during the coronavirus outbreak meant that commemorative events had to be kept low key.

Village house, East Hagbourne, Oxfordshire
Mid C17. Painted brick to ground floor; large timber-framing with angle braces to first floor; rendered infill; old plain-tile roof; brick ridge stack to left of centre. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range with cross-wing to right. C20 door to right return. Irregular fenestration of casements, blocked window to first floor left of centre. Gabled dormer to centre. Raking dormer to left return of cross-wing.
