The Collapsed Part
The collapsed part of Didcot Power Station which came down in February 2016 killing four people one was recovered the other three still missing under the pile you see. Didcot Power Station
The conventional 2000 MW coal fired power station as opposed to the smaller gas fired CCGT (combined cycle gas turbine) plant. Photographed from a layby on the A34. My initial thought was that these were lousy photographs but they have a certain charm and I have not manipulated. The date is approximate.
This coal burning power station closed in March 2013 as a result of the EU Large Combustion Plant Directive.

Didcot Power Station
This view has now changed forever. The Didcot A Power Station has been demolished and I believe a multi-storey car park has been built in the foreground. This view was from the foot bridge to the car park if I recall correctly.
