Tower in Moreton Avenue
I think I'm right in saying this was put up to house the stuff that used to be on the roof of Pauls Maltings, a tall building nearby which was demolished.
I do know that the drums stacked at the base are for honey. Rowses Honey is the adjoining premises.

Just a bit of industrial estate stuff on a sunny day.
Wallingford isn't all Castle, River and Town Hall although that's obviously where most of the photographers go.
This is "the other side of the tracks" or would be if they hadn't taken them up.

The End of Habitat in Wallingford
At one time Habitat was the byword for all that was cool in interior design. The firm started in Wallingford in the late 60s as a mail order company but soon expanded, with their large shop and warehouse becoming one of Wallingford's major employers.
That's all over now. The showroom closed in 1995, and now the warehouse is being pulled down to make room for housing.
