Rainshore Bleach and Dye Works
By 2004 this former dye works was totally derelict and full of asbestos. The site had not been secured and it was evident from the graffiti that teenagers had been inside it. No-one seemed to know what to do about it. To re-use the site for housing would be very expensive considering the environmental clean-up that would be necessary.

Greenbooth Reservoir, Rochdale
Greenbooth is the southernmost of a string of four reservoirs in the Naden Valley. It is very much larger than indicated on the 1940s OS map. This is a shot of the southern end looking south.
