Rolls Rescue
I had heard that when a Rolls-Royce breaks down the company rescue it and put it in a curtain sided truck, to avoid people ever seeing a broken down Rolls, I had considered this tale little more than an "urban myth". Here a £305,000 Phantom Drophead Coupé is seen having just entered a curtain sided lorry on Grove End Road.

44 Grove End Road
Home to the artist Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema from 1883 until 1912, and before that James Tissot, also an artist. Alma-Tadema modified the building extensively to an Italianate style in keeping with the paintings of ancient Rome for which he is famous. It was converted to apartments in the 1920's and fell into disrepair. A Grade II listed building, it is currently being renovated and returned to single-dwelling status.
